AIH (Analytical Information Hub) is an open data model with unlimited dimensions, utilizing the analytical layer of CCH Tagetik. These key benefits of AIH are not available in the financial workspace of CCH Tagetik, where users typically handle consolidation, reporting, and budgeting.
The analytical workspace is not tied to the financial workspace but can be used as a data source for financial data. Teams dealing with HR planning, sustainability, project planning, and sales planning can manage their own analytical workspaces and share this data with their finance colleagues. As AIH is a custom data model, every team can configure their own data model and dimensions, giving them full control and security over your data.
AIH is certainly not a new addition to the CCH Tagetik solution. In fact, it is the basis for prepackaged template modules such as IFRS 16 or ESG. The hub has proven itself for the past few years; however, we noticed that many organizations are not yet benefiting from this analytical data model.

Additionally, REST APIs can be used for operations outside the CCH Tagetik interface. This can read or write data and perform several operations without accessing the CCH Tagetik interface.
Once the data is imported, you can enrich and join datasets, improving calculation performance. AIH allows you to gain deeper insights into multiple dimensions that wouldn’t be possible in the financial workspace.
